Graphic Arts

   The Printmaking Department lays stress on the organic combination of basic teaching, social practice and specialized courses, and pays attention to the rational linking up professional techniques and specialized creation. It probes penetratingly into traditional genes of traditional print making. It takes lithography, intaglio, relief printing, stenciling and digital printmaking as the research orientation to foster the talents who are engaged in printmaking recreation, research, teaching and the relevant works.    

Oil Painting

     It takes ancient realistic oil painting, contemporary realistic oil painting, abstract and expressive oil painting as the research orientation to foster the talents who are engaged in oil painting recreation, research, teaching and the relevant works.

Sculpture

   The Sculpture Department lays stress on Chinese traditional sculpture arts, and it takes mental sculpture, wood sculpture, stone sculpture, ceramic art and multi-material sculpture as the research orientation to foster the talents who are engaged in sculpture recreation, research, teaching and the relevant works.

Visual Art Design

It fosters the students to be equipped with the design theory, knowledge and skill of visual transmission field, which include package, advertisement, printing, exhibition, photography internet and other design measure and theory of contemporary media. That can make the student enrich themselves in moral accomplishment, know the market and economy rules, boost up the ideation of plan and design and become the visual art design talents with high quality.       

Environmental Art Design

It takes architecture and the design of indoor and out door environment as the basic orientation. In the Environmental Art Design department teachers teach the history and theory of architecture and environmental design of Chinese and other country by the numbers, and they pay attention to the training of the basis of the specialized course, consciousness of design, space thought, materials and arts of construction and other aspects. To foster the environmental design talents with high quality, they pay attention to study environmental science, society and humanities, the relationship between Chinese traditional culture and the design of construction, environment and art of sight, and gather the ideal design of modern times.       

Industrial Design

It takes training the industrial design talent with high quality as the goal, combines the product, study and research. It takes the ideal thought of originality, novelty and expansibility. It lets the students command the theory, procedure and measures of industrial design, and improve their compound ability in artistic quality, specialized skill and plan. It cultivates the talents who are engaged in the design, package, exhibition, making the model of the industry products such as electrical home appliances, communication products, vehicle, daily necessaries and the relevant objects.

Fashion Design

Through the learning of the basic theory, knowledge and skills, the students can be engaged in the slopwork products exploitation, costume arts design, first-class fashionable dress design and the relevant works and equipped with the ability of manage, plan, teach and study at the same time, and become the costume design talents with high quality.

Dyeing & Waving Design

Through the learning of the basic theory, knowledge and skills, the student can be engaged in waving and decorating design, fiber art design, dyeing art design and the relevant works and equipped with the ability of manage, plan, teach and study at the same time, and become the dyeing and waving design talents with high quality.

Decorate Art

    Through the learning of the specialized theory and skill of the decorate art, the student can understand the decorate art phylogeny of Chinese and foreign countries. They also can learn and draw lessons from the traditional and contemporary artistic fruit. They can study the cultural spirit and the artistic value of the traditional decorates, techniques and skills, and their connection with the modern life. Through the study students can be familiar with the technique, material and capability that relevant to the decoration, master the theory, technique and skills of the design and recreation of decoration and become the talents with the compound ability of decorate design and recreation.

Digital Media Art

   Through 2-D process of the data( input, output), edit and process in the later stage, 3-D model creation, 3-D cartoon recreation and the creation of the real situation visualized by the internet and interacting art, to foster the compound talents who have the digital thought, digital-media art concept and rich in art tradition.   

Photography Art

Through study the major skills of photography and way to edit video frequency and audio frequency to let the student acquire the basic knowledge of photography and photograph measure of portrait, advertisement, monographic, scene architecture, movie photograph, news report, digital picture, video edit, un-linearity edit, internet picture transmission, photography history of Chinese and foreign countries and basic knowledge of visual art, and hold the basic recreation skill of photography art. The teaching orientation of photograph art is to foster the talents with specialized quality and art skills.    

Public Art Design

Students will become familiar with the design skill of the elements and the whole of the public art and can accomplish public art design and plan by themselves after they study and research the course of ancient gardens and architecture, decorative art, business space, public space, environment and compound sight, city sculpture, new material and new architecture, etc. they will become specialized talents of the public art with broad vision and detailed knowledge of art.  

Multimedia Design Specialty

Through the study of the basic knowledge and skills of doing with the multimedia, and the further study of the relationship among the new media, new thought and science and technology, which mix the design of the new media, the students can make use of the most advanced media technology and become the compound talents who take the art design of the research orientation in the visual transmission field.  

Free Painting Specialty

    Through study and practice of the compositive media and comparision and experiment the content of the new style course, teachers try to break the restriction of different drawing subjects and make expressive measure and compositive use of the multimedia of arts become possible. They are looking for the opportunity to make experiments which have modern meanings. The teaching purpose is to foster the compound talents who rich in art tradition and art quality.

Traditional Chinese Painting

In this department teachers pay attention to the connection of the traditional culture and the modern thought. They lay stress on the theoretic study and recreation of the traditional Chinese painting. They take figure, flowers-and-birds and landscape as the research orientation. They operate department instruction and try to let the traditional Chinese painting change from traditional to modern on the base of carrying forward the national culture.

Calligraphy

     Through the further and comprehensive study of some state of literature and history, philosophy, ancient writing, painting and calligraphy identification, aesthetics, etc., the teachers foster the talents who have their own opinion on the Chinese calligraphy and have basic knowledge of art and good at calligraphy and seal cutting.

Art History and Theory

Art History and Theory is a subject which study art practice, occurrence and development of art and various art phenomena. This subject has the interact relationship with art recreation at further steps, and it plays a more and more important role in the subject construction of senior academy of fine arts. In this department, students are required to fully understand and holed the specialized knowledge of art history and theory and its relevant knowledge of literature, history and philosophy. The students are required to cultivate the good habit of promoting the discussion by using the history and the theory, and equipped with the ability of instinctive appreciation, logical thought, comprehensive analysis and academic expression.
